Major General (R) Michel Friedling

Major General (R) Michel Friedling served as Head of the French Space Commmand. He is recognized for being the first French Space Commander to simultaneously lead military space operations and military space policy implementation under the French Space Defense Strategy. His leadership was instrumental in building France’s space defense capabilities, which is a direct result of joint work between the French Space Agency, the General Directorate for Armaments (DGA) and industrial and foreign partners. Post his esteemed military career, General Friedling founded and currently serves as CEO of Look Up Space, which aims to be a global leader in space surveillance and safety for in orbit activities. He is also the Founder and Chairman of Dragonfly Space Partners, a consulting firm specializing in space applications and capabilities for both the civil and defense sectors.
